Macomb Food Co-op Foundation

Support Local Food!
Picture
The Macomb Food Co-op Foundation was established in 2025 to support the Macomb Food Co-op: a friendly neighborhood grocery store that is all about "local food, produced by local people, for local people." The Foundation acts as a community liaison, allowing community members to support the Food Co-op in new ways, such as through tax-deductible donations.

Currently the Foundation is collecting funds to purchase the current co-op building and to make necessary improvements such as increased refrigeration and updating the kitchen to a fully functional commercial space. Donations can be made to the general building fund or towards a specific purpose. For example, adding a 3-compartment sink in the kitchen!

Donate now at the link below! Or mail a check made out to Prairie Hills RCD (our fiscal sponsor) and write whether you'd like your gift to go towards the building fund or kitchen improvements. Send checks to 321 W University Drive Macomb, IL 61455.
